The interface module has no tables and no fields and is used exclusively by the end user. This architecture provides the ability to easily manage version upgrades without the need for importing all the data. Thus, the interface is separated from the data – “Separation Model”.
Because the interface is separated from the data this allows for more efficient and quicker development times saving our customers time and money. Our developers benefit as well by not having to re-engineer the foundational architecture when requirements or features are changed or added.
All the tabbed and sub-tabbed interface and navigation is built-in. This includes the entire GUI (Graphical User Interface). This lightweight, tabbed and modular designed user interface provides a very low learning curve for your staff helping reduce training overhead.
The Data Module can easily store all your data in multiple tables which are only limited by the size of your hard drives, regardless of how many tables and fields are required. All data is stored in this database module which allows for a fully relational capable solution while preserving the user interface module size resulting in quicker load times when accessing your database remotely over the internet.
The data module comes with a full U.S. zip code database with the newest zip codes already in place, approximately 72,000 zip codes. We have found that by having the user type a zip code in and then auto populating the city and state this normalizes your data across your users, preventing misspellings, and saves them time in having to type them in for every record. Here’s what else you get with our zip code product:
For a small annual fee our subscription based zip code update service is fully automated including an auto email alert when quarterly updates are completed. This service is hassle free and currently available to all FileMaker Pro and SQL database solutions. (Some solutions may require a small setup fee)
ACG Technologies has a full range of pre-developed tables that are available for import into your custom solution, minimizing the cost and need for continuous re-development. The Document and Image Module manages all your digital content. Embed your digital images, content, movies etc. directly into a particular record, or upload it to a server, where a directory is automatically created and organized. The server managed solution is very powerful for firms that need to centralize, organize and even web publish their digital content. This solution does it all for you.
ACG Technologies also provides Remote Offsite Backup and disaster recovery services for your critical data. These services provide the extra margin of safety for your critical data. We offer completely automated backups whether once a day or continuous off-site backups. Auto generated alerts are sent to our in-house IT staff and you our customer in case a file fails to be backed up or in the event of errors while being backed up. This can eliminate the need for you to purchase additional hardware and helps eliminate human error i.e. someone forgetting to backup each day.
With your digital content being managed and organized on your server through our state of the art Document and digital content module, our off-site backup service is ideal for protecting your data. Digital content management example: If you are a Marketing Communications traffic manager or a project manager that requires all documents, digital content and even emails to remain in the project record where it is easily accessible and organized with the parent project record this is easily done with our solution.
